John Herman, P.E.
Project Engineer
John holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Environmental and Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Science in Engineering (MSE) from Florida Gulf Coast University. His research interests include the evaluation and remediation of recalcitrant chemical compounds such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as well as some under-examined petroleum hydrocarbons. He joined AMRC in 2014 and is a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer with experience performing environmental site assessments and preparing and implementing pilot tests and remedial action plans for sites with complex soil and groundwater impacts. John is also a certified private pilot and enjoys fishing, brewing, and playing video games in his free time
